Hey, y’all! Happy New Year Me No Die Oh! That is the tune my mother sings every New Years Day and does her little dance. It’s pretty funny and one of the reasons why it’s so fun to be home on New Years’. Plus, all of the good food to remind you of what will be missed.

I can definitely say that I have gained at least 10 pounds since I’ve been home. Seriously. I could not stop eating! Luckily for me, I start training for the half marathon this month so it’ll be easy to shed those pounds.

I am so optimistic about 2017 because I am anticipating changes for me and all of the new exciting things that I will experience this year. I’ve never been so giddy at the beginning of a new year! I hope all your goals and dreams come true for this new year!
