Hey, y’all! Can we talk about how beautiful the weather’s been these last couple of days? I almost forgot that it’s January!
I’m doing my first collaboration post with the wonderful watch company JORD Wood Watches. They reached out to me to review one of their watches, the Frankie 35 Series Dark Sandalwood and Mint. The company sells beautiful men and women‘s watches that are made of 100% natural wood.
Before I sat down to truly review this watch, I wanted y’all to know that I wore this watch for a while because I wanted to get a true feel for the watch and see if it is something that I would fully enjoy and actually recommend to others.
To be honest, when I saw the watch online I thought the wood would be a bit clunky and heavy and the wood looked a bit lighter online. This all made me a little nervous because I had a different image in my head. When I finally received the watch, I was very excited the image and my expectations were shattered.
First, the watch came in this beautiful woodbox! The wooden box has now become a part of my decor. As I said, the watch took my doubts away because the watch is not heavy nor is it clunky. The wood is also a lot darker in person; if you’re not looking hard enough, it looks black. This is great because it means I can literally wear it with everything, including the black and white pallet that I have on in my photos.
The teal face (in certain settings it looks turquoise) of the watch is a great pop of color. This is useful especially during the dull winter months when all you want to do is wear dark colors. It’s also just such an easy to way to add color to your wardrobe if wearing lots of color is not your thing.
Overall, it’s a beautiful timepiece and an excellent addition to your winter wardrobe– really any season because it compliments everything. I truly do love this watch and would definitely recommend this product (which is a pretty big deal because I would never recommend a product I don’t trust or like).
