JAMAICAN BLACK CASTOR OIL

Hey, y’all! Today, I’m about to get real candid about…. (dun dun DUN) breakage. I noticed some breakage on the sides of my hair (near my edges).

I was freaking out a bit because I didn’t know why my hair was breaking. Then I realized that I just had crochet braids and I think the way that I was using the crochet needle, I may have pulled out some of my hair. Whoops!

Not wanting to walk around with no edges, I decided to try Jamaican Black Castor Oil that I have been hearing about. To give a little background info, castor oil is an oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor bean. Castor oil has many health benefits- from laxative, strengthening your immune system and of course, hair loss.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a bit different from regular castor oil because it contains ash from the roasting of the beans. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil has just as many productive benefits for hair- such as stopping hair loss, stimulating hair growth, providing hair nutrients, etc.

To see the benefits of Jamaican Black Castor Oil, I bought the Tropic Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I decided to do the 4oz because I didn’t know if I would be able to finish an entire 8oz. .

I will begin using it to track my progress to grow my edges. I apply the castor oil nightly when I am getting ready to go to bed. I will provide an update later to do a review of the product and to discuss any new growth.

Do you have a special product(s) you use for breakage to stimulate hair growth?

As always, thanks for stopping by!
